Finissage of The hand that searched in the void with a diverse closing programme including artist & expert talks, a ritualistic workshop, performances and snacks & drinks. On this special day, we are also humbled to host a public conversation with Goos Blok, a 97-year old Dutch veteran with deep reflections on how war can take you to places that are beyond your control. He will share his insights on holding on and letting go, the central themes of our exhibition programme.

During the Weekend of Defence Heritage, there will be various performances and activities on and around the Fort Island. Physical and mental defense strategies take center stage.

Opening of The hand that searched in the void including the festive launch of the Quantum Mirror by artist and inventor Mike Rijnierse, an interactive intervention on the rooftop part of Jonathan Tang’s work and a performance by artist and sound designer Oscar van Leest.
