Kunstfort embraces the night sky for The Night of the Night 2024!

Following the tradition of previous years, the Kunstfort will turn off the lights on Saturday 26 October to give nightlife more space and embrace the darkness and beauty of the night. We are doing this to mark the 20th edition of Night of the Night.

Night of the Night is an annual initiative organised by the Nature and Environment Federations. On this occasion, companies and municipalities are invited to turn off the lights of their buildings and their (advertising) lighting to draw attention to the ecological impact of light pollution. Many animals need the peace and quiet to hunt, rest or migrate. Plants and other ecosystems also have a natural rhythm of light and dark.

The Kunstfort is of course happy to contribute! We do this with exciting guided tours and a scavenger hunt for the whole family on a dark fort island. We start just before sunset and it is recommended to bring a torch!
