Vin­cent Knopper in­ves­ti­gates and re­pro­duces ex­isting Kunstfort ar­chi­tec­ture and trans­lates this into spa­tial imag­i­na­tions. With these in­ter­ven­tions, he re­sponds to el­e­ments that have been de­signed and placed during the re-use of the Kunstfort as an art in­sti­tu­tion, such as the steel fencing and gravel path, which be­came part of the iden­tity of the fort. Knopper sees a sim­ilar efect around the mer­chan­dise of the Kunstfort; the pens and lighters are grad­u­ally be­coming part of the overall Kunstfort iden­tity.
