Return to overview

From 17 July until 17 August, Kunstfort Vijfhuizen will host Sensory Threshold Lab, an artistic research laboratory organised by artists Katherina Heil and Alexander Heil, exploring the architectural, historical, and ecological features of Kunstfort and its surrounding landscape. In the framework of this lab, which will be open to the public, artists and researchers come together to explore, think, and experiment in a specific spatial and conceptual context. Through workshops and other activities, moments of participation and sharing will be created.

This year’s edition is entitled As Found+. At Kunstfort, the research project emphasises the use of found materials and site-specific interventions to create micro-places within the larger (eco) systems of Kunstfort and generate moments of imagination, reflection, and interaction.

See here for more information about the artists and the programme.
