Kunstfort Vijfhuizen is home to a diverse range of outdoor artworks. Spread across the fort island, they explore themes such as transformation, love, abundance, loss, decay, and more.

Most of the artworks are temporarily displayed on loan, with the exception of the gravestone path by Hans van Houwelingen, which has a more permanent character. Sometimes we also lend asylum to outdoor artworks that are looking for a temporary place of refuge.

The works can be viewed during regular openings hours and all year around as long as the main gate is open.
