Kunstfort x HKU
Cosmos 2025 - Finitude
05.06–15.06.2025
Return to overview

In a world of art that often focuses on preserving and extending the lifespan of artworks for museums and art markets, Kunstfort, as part of its spring program, encourages 2nd-year HKU students to reflect on what it means to create work that is not intended to exist forever.

How does this change the meaning of the work? How does it influence the choice of materials and the way the work is presented to an audience? How would you, as a creator, want people to remember the work?

The students will present their final presentations on Sunday, 8 June.

Participating Students:
Anika Mols, Boet Lengkeek, Chane Havenga, Charlie Duyker, Daan Bootsman, Daan Grunwald, Edwige Antonides, Janna Stieglis, Lara Wijnker, Mare Langen, Mika Anderliesten, Ninti Schavemaker, Roos Maas, Rose Stibbe, Senna Cuenen, Tim van Geene, Yasmina Salouli

A special thank you to guiding teachers Dorien Bruijns and Stijn Bisscheroux.
